Andrew Marr

'Journalism is in terrible trouble' said BBC broadcaster Andrew Marr at the Edinburgh Book Festival.

Marr was asked a question by Tam Dalyell, the former anti-war MP.

Dalyell asked why journalists such as Marr had not bothered to question the truth of Blair's “Dodgy dossier”, even though colleagues on the ground in Iraq, such as Robert Fisk and Patrick Cornwall, had already rubbished many of its claims.

“It just never crossed my mind the dossier could be that ropey,” said Marr.

Looks like Marr does not use the internet or read Robert Fisk?
